These are also great products to add to the gift ideas list, especially with Christmas just around the corner - what a great stocking filler.

It is coming to that time of year where, if you aren't already, we all start to think about what Christmas gifts to buy our friends and family. Some people can be particuarly difficult to buy for, as the 'in' thing is always changing. Have no fear, because we have the three best rail gadgets to solve all of your problems. Introducing the SpaceRail collection; SpaceRail Level 4 - Glow in the Dark, Space Rail Level 2 - Glow in the Dark and Space Rail Level 3

The SpaceRail Level 4 - Glow in the Dark, is a self-perpetuating glow in the dark rollercoaster, and is sure to entertain for hours. It has 5 seperate trakcs and glow in the dark rails. Since the Space Rail comes with a battery-powered elevator, you can enjoy watching the 4 steel balls leave the lift, and roll around the 26,000mm length of track and conquer a series of see-saw drops and twists, and then it gets lifted back to the start so you can watch it all over again. This set comes with an easy to follow manual, so that you can easily assemble the SpaceRail. Yes, it actually glows in the dark! The SpaceRails come in levels of difficulty, the SpaceRail Level 4 is considered to be for intermediate users.

The SpaceRail Level 2 - Glow in the Dark features two seperate glow in the dark tracks, that the steel balls speed around. There is also a little elevator present so that the steel balls can be taken back up to the top of the coaster to start their journey again, ensuring that the fun never ends. Turn the lights off and watch the steel balls whizz around the tracks as the track glows in the dark.

The SpaceRail Level 3, is another must have gift! At level 3, this Space Rail is considered a bit more of a challenge than Level 2, but once you have assembled the awesome rail the fun will never stop. Watch the three steel balls roll down the track, negotiating all the twist and turns that are thrown at them. When they get to the bottom, watch as they get taken straight back up again by the motorised elevator.

These amazing toys are suitable for any ages (unless they are younger than three years old), so what are you waiting for? Make someone's Christmas this December and give them a gift that they can spend hours using.

We know what you're thinking: 'Surely it can't be Christmas already?!' Well no, not quite yet, but it's never too early to start preparing!

The boffins here at Gadget Inspector have been knocking their heads together all morning, and they've come up with this list of Christmas tips. Not the kind you might give your bin men, mind you; just a few Gadget Inspector products that will put big smiles on little faces when Christmas morning finally comes. Children and adults alike will be thrilled to find this heap of loot under the tree on December the 25th!

Remote control quadrocopter

Micro Drone Quadrocopter 2.0

No Christmas Day would be complete without a remote control helicopter, and the magnificent Micro Drone is top of the heap! It's super-speedy, super-stable, and it can even be fitted with a camera (sold separately)!

Does it need batteries? No, it comes with its own battery. All you have to do is charge it up!

Inflatable R2-D2 and Android

RC Inflatable R2-D2 and RC Inflatable Android [no longer available]
Some kids want a puppy or a kitten for Christmas, but if you don't want the responsibility of looking after a pet, these cute remote control characters are the next best thing! R2-D2 makes a great gift for Star Wars fans, while the RC Android will be a huge hit with anyone who's glued to their smartphone! And then there's the Remote Control Inflatable Minion - it hasn't arrived yet, but it will be here before long, and if you know someone who loved the Despicable Me films, we're pretty confident that this will make their Christmas!

Do they need batteries? Yes: a 9V battery for the remote control handset, and 4 AA batteries for the robot itself.

Tetris light

Tetris Light
One of the guys in the Gadget Inspector office got this for Christmas last year, and he loves the nerdy ambience it adds to his bedroom. Stack the Tetris blocks anyway you like, and be amazed when they light up! A great gift for retro gamers.

Does it need batteries? Nope - just plug it straight into the mains.

Assorted robo fish

Robo Fish

Here's another great alternative to getting your children an actual pet: the amazing Robo Fish (as seen on TV!) The fish come in all kinds of cool colours, and they'll never need to be fed!

Do they need batteries? Batteries are included.

Remote control combat creature

Combat Creatures Attacknid [no longer available]

So robotic fish and inflatable droids don't float your boat? In that case, here's a slightly more radical selection from our remote control section: the Attacknid! It shoots flying discs, walks around like a real spider, and if it gets hit by another Attacknid, the armour pops off. Get two and have a great big robot war this Christmas!

Does it need batteries? Each Attacknid needs 6 AA batteries to function.

Of course, we're only scratching the surface here. There are all kinds of other awesome gift ideas to be found here at Gadget Inspector, so if you haven't seen anything you like yet, head back to our homepage and see what else we've got!

Oh, and don't forget the stocking fillers!

Teenagers throughout the UK received their GCSE results today. We say rather them than us - we remember that sick, nervous feeling all too well, and we'd hate to have to open that envelope all over again.

We especially dreaded the maths result. If there's one thing that we learnt from GCSE maths, it's that sums can sometimes be hard even when you're allowed to use a calculator. In many ways, the calculator paper was even harder than the other one - how does THAT make sense?

Ah well, if calculators can't help us with maths, we can at least have some fun with them. No, we're not talking about typing 5318008 and turning it upside down - we're talking about the DIY Calculator. Not only is it better than us at maths, it also allows you to personalise it! You can draw whatever you like on the calculator - if you want to make life difficult for yourself, you could even put the numbers on the wrong buttons. At least you'd be the only person able to use it!

Oh, and since the DIY Calculator is our Deal of the Week, it's currently available for just £2.80. What are you waiting for? Get number-crunching!
