Great Christmas gift ideas from Gadget Inspector!

We know what you're thinking: 'Surely it can't be Christmas already?!' Well no, not quite yet, but it's never too early to start preparing!

The boffins here at Gadget Inspector have been knocking their heads together all morning, and they've come up with this list of Christmas tips. Not the kind you might give your bin men, mind you; just a few Gadget Inspector products that will put big smiles on little faces when Christmas morning finally comes. Children and adults alike will be thrilled to find this heap of loot under the tree on December the 25th!

Remote control quadrocopter

Micro Drone Quadrocopter 2.0

No Christmas Day would be complete without a remote control helicopter, and the magnificent Micro Drone is top of the heap! It's super-speedy, super-stable, and it can even be fitted with a camera (sold separately)!

Does it need batteries? No, it comes with its own battery. All you have to do is charge it up!

Inflatable R2-D2 and Android

RC Inflatable R2-D2 and RC Inflatable Android [no longer available]
Some kids want a puppy or a kitten for Christmas, but if you don't want the responsibility of looking after a pet, these cute remote control characters are the next best thing! R2-D2 makes a great gift for Star Wars fans, while the RC Android will be a huge hit with anyone who's glued to their smartphone! And then there's the Remote Control Inflatable Minion - it hasn't arrived yet, but it will be here before long, and if you know someone who loved the Despicable Me films, we're pretty confident that this will make their Christmas!

Do they need batteries? Yes: a 9V battery for the remote control handset, and 4 AA batteries for the robot itself.

Tetris light

Tetris Light
One of the guys in the Gadget Inspector office got this for Christmas last year, and he loves the nerdy ambience it adds to his bedroom. Stack the Tetris blocks anyway you like, and be amazed when they light up! A great gift for retro gamers.

Does it need batteries? Nope - just plug it straight into the mains.

Assorted robo fish

Robo Fish

Here's another great alternative to getting your children an actual pet: the amazing Robo Fish (as seen on TV!) The fish come in all kinds of cool colours, and they'll never need to be fed!

Do they need batteries? Batteries are included.

Remote control combat creature

Combat Creatures Attacknid [no longer available]

So robotic fish and inflatable droids don't float your boat? In that case, here's a slightly more radical selection from our remote control section: the Attacknid! It shoots flying discs, walks around like a real spider, and if it gets hit by another Attacknid, the armour pops off. Get two and have a great big robot war this Christmas!

Does it need batteries? Each Attacknid needs 6 AA batteries to function.

Of course, we're only scratching the surface here. There are all kinds of other awesome gift ideas to be found here at Gadget Inspector, so if you haven't seen anything you like yet, head back to our homepage and see what else we've got!

Oh, and don't forget the stocking fillers!
