So Christmas has come and gone, and we're left with an inevitable case of the post-Yuletide blues. All the wrapping paper has been torn off, the decorations will be coming down soon if they haven't already, and our festive portion sizes are beginning to look like regular old gluttony. January's here, ladies and gents, and it's not nearly as much fun as December was.

But not to worry! There's still plenty of fun to be had in this harsh, post-Christmas world, and you'll find a blooming' big bunch of it right here at Gadget Inspector. Are you disappointed with your Christmas toys? Then get some new ones, like the Inflatable Remote Control R2D2 or any of our Remote Control Helicopters. Sad that the steady flow of parties has stopped? Throw your own party with our Party and Drinking gadgets!

And if, like so many people, you're just upset that it's still winter for another two months, we've got a remedy for that, too. This gadget website is full of wonderful winter warmers; whether it's the USB Mug Warmer, the sumptuous Snug Rug, or the thermal yet functional Touch Screen Gloves, we're bound to have the perfect winter gadget for you.

Whatever you need to get you through the dregs of the season, you'll find it here at Gadget Inspector.

Christmas may be wrapped up, but winter doesn't end on the 26th of December. We've got a cold couple of months still to contend with, and having a hot drink close at hand can make all the difference.

That's why, when you're fighting the post-Christmas, pre-springtime blues, this USB Mug Warmer should be your weapon of choice. Simply plug the mug warmer into your computer's USB port and stick your mug on top - the mug warmer will warm your drink to a temperature of around 50 degrees Celsius, keeping your tea toasty and your coffee cosy!

Oh, and did we mention the fact that it's shaped like a giant cookie? Because that's another reason why no desktop should be without the Hot Cookie Mug Warmer this January. It looks good enough to eat, although we don't recommend dipping it in your tea.

Retro is righteous!

We’re always on the lookout for cool new gadgets here at Gadget Inspector, but it doesn’t have to be new to be cool! We’ve got a bunch of great retro gadgets available too, many of which you’ll probably remember from your childhood!

Still, even if you were born too late to know what this Cassette Tape USB Hub [no longer available] is based on, you’ll find plenty to love in our retro gadgets range. Like Arcadie, which combines modern technology with retro ideas to turn your smartphone into an arcade games machine. Or this Pixel Clock, which presumably looks exactly like the one on Pac-Man’s kitchen wall.

And then there’s the king of retro gadgets, the Tetris Light. We’re hoping that you’ll know what Tetris is no matter how young you are – it’ a worldwide sensation even today, and this colourful bedroom accessory will make a great gift for any Tetris addict.

Our retro gadgets may be old-fashioned, but that doesn’t make them any less brilliant! Grab one today, and  put a bit of the past back in your life!

Our gadget website is packed with R2D2 gadgets. Slowly but surely they've been piling up, and now we've got more R2D2 gadgets than we know what to do with.

Gadget Inspector's obsession with the Star Wars franchise is well-documented, but as much as we love Han, Luke, Leia and the others, R2 will always be our favourite character. Just look at him - how could anyone resist the cute little guy?

So do forgive the site if it's a little heavy on the R2D2 gadgets. They are all awesome, mind - from the Inflatable Remote Control R2D2 robot to the brand new R2D2 Cookie Jar, we've got everything the modern R2 addict could ask for.

Well, we all knew that the robot uprising couldn't be far away, and now it's finally arrived. Fortunately for the human race, these robots aren't looking to destroy us - they just want to play!

Gadget Inspector's remote control robots make perfect Christmas presents for gadget geeks, especially if they've already got one RC robot for the new one to be friends with. Or, in the case of the Combat Creatures Attacknid [no longer available], another RC robot for it to fight to the death - the stomping spidery brute shoots flying foam discs and comes with detachable armour that springs off when hit.

If that game sounds a little too violent for you, we've another six-legged RC robot who isn't a heavily armoured war machine. CyBugs [no longer available] are creepy-crawly remote control robots that come in a range of colours and scuttle around just like real bugs.

And finally, if you're looking for non-insect remote control robots, you'll love our Remote Control Inflatable R2D2. He's just as lovable as the droid you know and love from the Star Wars films, with added squishiness. He's the perfect RC robot pal for kids and adults alike!
